Merthyr Tydfil Farmers Market is held on the 1st Friday of
every month. 10am until 2pm at High Street Merthyr Tydfil
As usual you will find fresh quality products that are grown,
reared or made within a 50 mile radius.
By buying at the Farmers Market you will be supporting Welsh
Farmers and helping do drive the local economy. Many of the foods
you find at the market are True Taste of Wales award winners which
recognises the best in welsh cuisine.

A selection of stalls selling fresh produce from within 50 miles
of Merthyr Tydfil. This month's confirmed attendees, so far
are:
New - Coity Bach now stock poultry!
Andcrafted - Andrea and Marion's handmade jewellery, handbags
and aprons.
Cig Mynydd Cymru - Fresh Welsh Lamb, and Beef. Their Rack of
Lamb won the True Taste of Wales award this year!
Coity Bach- Premium pork products including faggots, sausages,
burgers and ribs in a wide variety of flavours. New - now stocking
their own free
Fairtrade Merthyr - A selection of Fairtrade products, including
chocolate, cereals and biscuits. Plus free tea and coffee.
Groundwork - Sustainable woodcrafts and plants
Lee Price Gallery - Prints and cards of local landscapes and
people available from the artist direct.
Trecastle Eggs - Fresh hen and duck eggs from Trecastle, plus
Caws Cenarth Cheeses and welsh butter from Roger's friends.

If you rear, grow or make your own food, we would love to hear
from you. We are always looking for new traders to join us who can
supply something we currently do not offer.
