We are always looking for new producers to join our market who
have something different to add to our range.
We currently have vacancies for:
- Preserves
- Bread
- Fish
- Olives
- Poultry
We do not have any space currently for craft items, please join
our Craft Market on the 1st Saturday of every month.
If you think you have a local made product that we don't
currently stock, please contact us at towncentre@merthyr.gov.uk
Our you might wish to join our waiting list if an opportunity
becomes available. We currently have waiting lists for a number of
products. As a small market we can only accomodate one producer of
each product.
The £20 market fee includes a covered stall, table, electricity,
water and listing on our website. All new traders will have to pay
their stall fee in advance of the market.
To join the Farmers Market you must make your own produce, be
registered with your local Environmental Health Office and have
full liabilities insurance.
To join the market or the waiting list please fill in the
Farmers Market Application Form and return it to towncentre@merthyr.gov.uk.
The market manager will be in touch with you once we receive your
application.
There is no parking available on site as we operate in a
pedestrianised High Street (please see How to Find Us for directions). The
nearest car park (2 minute walk via pedestrian bridge) is the College Car Park (pay and display) or
alternativeley at Merthyr Leisure Village (7 minute walk) at the
south of the High Street (no charge).
