The Business Support Team is part of the Regeneration Department
which supports business creation, investment, expansion and success
by offering a range of services to businesses throughout the
County Borough.
The team works closely with all its business support
partners and holds regular meetings of the Merthyr Tydfil
Business Partnership. As well as being able to provide advice
on sites and premises, the team can also provide financial
assistance to qualifying businesses through the Merthyr Tydfil
Business Support Package.
Within the team there is also a dedicated Business Environment
Co-ordinator on hand to offer advice on a range of
environmental issues.
The team is also part of the Merthyr Tydfil Enterprise Group - a
dynamic group consisting of a range of partners who arrange various
events throughout the year in order to encourage people to start in
Business, provide business networking opportunities and to make
people aware of the wide range of business support available within
the area. This group consists of the following
